It feels so good to have power again! This experience has made me realize that I would not make it long in a zombie apocalypse! 😂 I mean, I can barely made it 36 hours without electricity!
We actually got it back on earlier than expected. So today, I’m cozy in the house, wearing green, and getting ready to start my corned beef dinner. Do you make corned beef for St. Patrick’s Day? I make it every year. It’s one of my favorites.

A front porch selfie is about as good as it gets for me this week.
We had some powerful storms go through here yesterday, which knocked out power and cell service. Unfortunately, our electric company doesn’t expect to get our power back on until Friday evening! 😩

Have you been to Yellowstone? It’s definitely a bucket-list worthy destination. I’m in the middle of planning our summer travels, and it’s got me thinking about some of our most memorable trips, and Yellowstone is definitely one of our most memorable! Hi all. It’s just me soaking up what ever sun is popping through the clouds today. I’m hoping it gives me a boost of vitamin D to help me get me through the day.
I need to be honest. I haven’t been as active as I normally am on here. It’s been a hard school year that has consumed almost all of my time and energy. What’s even harder is that I can’t see it getting better anytime soon.
I wish I could go more into detail about all that is happening, but I really can’t quite yet. When I can, I promise I will. It will feel so good to finally vent and maybe help someone else possibly going through the same stuff.

What’s the weather like by you? I can honestly say that our current cold and rain/snow snap is not what I was expecting. I was really hoping for more spring-like weather by now.

I’ve been pretty quiet this past week because we we’ve been back in Indiana on a whirlwind trip celebrating my mama’s big 70th birthday, AND my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary!
We’ve had such a wonderful time visiting and catching up with family and friends.
